calm weather equates to Perfect Whale Watching off Brisbane

It seems the Humpback whales are embracing the calm Moreton Island weather and using it for some time to relax before they continue their journey back south to Antarctica.

On board Australia's largest dedicated whale watching vessel, the Tangalooma Jet, a total of 11 whales were spotted for the day with a playful newborn calf spotted with two adults near the end of the cruise.

The calf looked to be showing off with several tail slaps with its very small tail flukes! Embracing the calm weather
