Breaching off the bow of the Jet

Plenty of breaching at the front of the Tangalooma Jet!

10 Humpback whales thrilled guests on today's whale watch cruise. We started off with several whales, that were determined to get to the Whitsundays asap, as they continued to surface in a northward direction. As we observed these whales, we noticed some splashing out on the horizon, created by two separate Humpback whale pods. We approached these pods closer to soon be amazed!

These active whales started firing up in the water with many spectacular behaviours being performed for us! Together, these separate whale pods performed tail throws and breaches, many times in a row! It was fantastic to see one of the juvenile whales, breaching heaps of times just near the bow (front) of the Tangalooma Jet! What a great way to end today's whale watch cruise, with guests cheering at the breaching whales!
