Promising signs for future whale numbers as 18 juveniles sighted today

The juvenile Humpbacks definitely stole the show on today's whale watch, with 18 juveniles and 2 adults sighted! Two juveniles caught us by surprise at the start of the cruise, as they approached us to check us out. They also had a bubble bath in the bubbles produced by the Tangalooma Jet! The water visibility was amazing today, as we could clearly see the whales hanging upside down under the water's surface.

We then continued our journey to the open ocean waters off Cape Moreton, where we sighted heaps of pods across the horizon! They all enjoyed their long deep dives in the beautiful crystal clear blue waters of Moreton Bay Marine Park.
