Some of the last whales to head north!

Today was a beautiful day to go whale watching, with crystal clear blue waters and sunny blue skies complementing the 7 adult Humpback whales! We were also lucky to see a pod of dolphins on our cruise as well. The whales were quite elusive at times today, as they performed many long deep water dives. Guests had to keep their eyes peeled out on the surrounding whales for the whales to surface after their dives.

After we finished watching the elusive whales, we noticed some activity from another pod in the distance. We approached closer and were so excited to see one of whales repeatedly breaching! After the whale seemed to burn off its blubber, it calmed down and became elusive with the other members of its pod, as they all continued their deep dives towards the north.
