Footage of dolphins interacting with Whales

Only 3 days left to see these majestic beasts before they return to their cold water feeding grounds, down towards the Antarctic. Today we saw a total of 16 Whales! We didn't even have to pass Combuyuro point today and could see whale's pectoral slapping before we dropped the boat's lines from the jetty!

Today was non stop full on action! I don't think there was a minute today we didn't have a whale in sight of the boat. the weather was a bit overcast but the whales had the same idea we did staying close to the islands protected lee. A mother was resting on the surface super close to the beach in front of Cowan Cowan, the cheeky little calf had plenty of energy spy-hopping and making everybody on board feel like they were being watched. With just the weekend left for this seasons whale watch we can't wait to see what the next couple of days will bring. Hopefully we keep our numbers high and break our whale sighting numbers !

In some of the footage below we even captured some interesting footage of 2 bottlenose dolphins interacting with a mother and calf.
