History: Not much is known about Lefty’s history but that he appears to be a solitary dolphin. He appears to visit many pods in this area.

ID Features: Lefty is so named because the left side of his tail flukes is missing. He also has an unusual dorsal fin shape. All of these may be the result of a shark encounter.
Despite these old injuries, Lefty has no apparent swimming disability and it is always a very happy occasion when Lefty visits us.
