Birth Date: 10th October, 1994
Position in Pod: Last daughter of Beauty. Sister of Tinkerbell.
History: Shadow was orphaned when Beauty died at the end of
1995. Tinkerbell stepped in as Shadow's main protector.
As a result there is a close bond between her and Tinkerbell.
Shadow has recently given birth to her first calf on 7th
September 2004.
ID Features: Shadow shares many family traits with Tinkerbell
and Bobo, such as her similarly shaped dorsal fin and her
light colouration. The dolphins are all slightly different
shades of grey from dark to light and can have hereditary
traits just like us.
Personality/traits: Shadow often hunts before, during and after
the feed for fish. Shadow also is in the habit of chasing
fish up onto the beach, left to flop around out of the water.
This action has provided much entertainment and education
for guests watching from the jetty.
