Please contact our Reservations team on +61 7 3637 2000 to confirm your booking at least 24 hours prior to travel. Sometimes our launch departures times can change at late notice, so ensure that we have your current contact details.
Please also advise us of any special requirements you may have in advance. If you're travelling with children, we can provide cots free of charge - please let us know at the time of booking.
Arrival at Holt Street Wharf
If you are travelling to Tangalooma via our passenger ferries, please make sure you arrive at Holt Street Wharf at least 30 minutes prior to the launch departure time.

Arrival at Tangalooma
If you are travelling to Tangalooma via our passenger launch transfer, your will be welcomed by our Guest Services team as you disembark at the Tangalooma Jetty. Our Guest Services team will direct you to a meeting point and walk you through the resort providing you with everything you need to know during your stay. Of course, if you're a return guest to Tangalooma you're welcome to skip the introductory tour and get your holiday started straight away!
If you are arriving by MiCat vehicle barge please head straight to Reception upon arrival at Tangalooma. Please note that the MiCat disembarks at the Tangalooma Wrecks which is a 30-minute walk from the Resort centre. You may park your vehicle at either the north or south end car parks, shown on the map here.
If you are arriving by private boat and have pre-arranged a mooring, please visit Tangalooma Watersports upon arrival at the Resort to organise payment. After this you may head straight to Reception to arrange your accommodation check-in.
Accommodation check-in times vary according to which package you have booked; please refer to your confirmation letter or contact our Reservations team.
If you arrive at Tangalooma earlier than your check-in time, it's a good idea to pack your hand luggage with important items such as your swimming costume, sunscreen and hat. There are also lockers situated throughout the main resort area where you may store your belongings for a small fee until your room is ready.
What to pack
Tangalooma enjoys a moderate sub-tropical climate year-round, with temperatures averaging 22-30 degrees Celsius by day in the summer and between 12-22 degrees Celsius in winter. If you're travelling during the winter many days are warm and sunny, however ensure you pack some appropriate clothes for those cooler days and nights.
The dress code at Tangalooma is relaxed resort wear. After 6pm guests are requested to wear footwear and refrain from wearing singlets. Don't forget your swimming costume, suncreen, hat and camera! Beach towels are available from Reception for a refundable deposit.
If you're travelling on a package that includes dolphin feeding, ensure you pack some clothing such as shorts or swimwear that you can wear in the water as you will get wet up to the waist. If you plan on joining a quad bike tour whilst at Tangalooma make sure you pack some enclosed footwear.
