Personality/traits: Shadow is one of the most notably vocal dolphins at Tangalooma, frequently heard whistling, clicking and squeaking. An efficient hunter, Shadow has often surprised the staff by bringing in 'dolphin gifts': prey that she has caught and offered up to the person feeding her. Being a very nurturing, protective mother, she has passed on these incredible hunting skills to her daughter, Silhouette, who is often seen zipping around the feed area in search of her own prey. |
