Birth Date: 7th September, 2004.

Position in Pod: Silhouette is Shadow's oldest calf at four years of age, and feeds alongside her cousin Storm in Lane 5.

History: Silhouette was born a mere 10 days after her cousin Storm. Staff and guests alike were delighted that the sisters Tinkerbell and Shadow had their calves at the same time! From the very beginning, Shadow was a very protective mother and Silhouette has developed into a very confident young dolphin. Witnessing the strong bond between Shadow and Silhouette develop has been a great experience.

ID Features: Although Silhouette is 10 days younger than her cousin Storm, she is noticeably larger. Her dorsal fin is beautifully curved, just like her mother Shadow's, with a few very small nicks visible along the trailing edge.

Personality/traits: Just like her mum, Sil is an accomplished hunter and can often be seen scooting off during the feed in pursuit of the more exciting live fish swimming around the jetty and feed area. An energetic young dolphin, she often arrives to the feed with cousin Storm.
