Birth Date: 17th September, 2008.

Position in Pod: Born 6 weeks after his younger cousin Phoenix, Zephyr is the newest member of the Tangalooma pod.

History: Zephyr quickly developed a strong bond with Phoenix, and the two are often seeing playing together at the back of the feed area while their mothers feed in the shallows. Being a male, he has already started to form playful friendships with some of the older males such as Rani and Nari.

ID Features: Zephyr already possesses a unique dorsal fin, even though it is free of any notches or scars, it is distinctively wedge shaped and quite stout. Along with his size, this makes him very easy to distinguish from the other dolphins!

Personality/traits: Just like Phoenix, Zephyr spends most of his time playfully surfing or tormenting pufferfish in the feed area. At only one year of age, he's already becoming quite independent, spending long periods of time away from his mother Shadow during the feed.
