There are strict time and weather restrictions associated with hire. Vehicles cannot be hired any time close to sunrise or sunset.

How to book

Visit the Tours Desk (Next to Reception) - Vehicles are subject to limited availability, and can be restrcited from hire for operational, safety, emergency and maintenance reasons at any time.

Group size

Vehicle size can vary depending on available fleet vehicles on any given day. Generally vehicles can accommodate 5 passengers in a Landcruiser-style vehiocle

Terms and Conditions

Prices valid through to 31/03/2023. A vehicle access permit must be obtained before driving on Mulgumpin (Moreton Island) recreation areas — fees apply. Drivers must be 25 years or older and hold an unrestricted drivers licence. $400 deposit required + additional charges for fuel apply. This information should be used as a guide only. Access to Tour Provider & Equipment Hire Services

Only official authorised visitors to Tangalooma Island Resort are allowed to access the tour provider, equipment hire, and booking services that are based at Tangalooma.
