Global Link

Global Link Queensland 2021 Schools Event

2021 Dates TBC

Global Link is a internationally recognised educational event for primary and secondary school students, where they have the chance to discuss environmental issues with fellow students and local environmental leaders. Surrounded by pristine National and Marine Parks, Tangalooma on Moreton Island is the perfect backdrop for environmental experiences and is the perfect destination to host this global event.

This world-leading event allows students from different cultures and backgrounds to connect with like-minded peers and develop their leadership, presentation, critical-thinking and bilingual skills.

"The students had lots to talk about after their experience and we look forward to being involved again next year."

Clayfield College - Kim Eagle

In 2018 and 2019, junior and senior school students from various countries gathered at Tangalooma for the Global Link event, organised in conjunction with JTB, Tourism and Events Queensland and Tangalooma Island Resort. Previous domestic schools involved include Clayfield College, Manly West State School, Siena College, Southern Cross Catholic College, Wishart State School and Yeronga State High School. "Thank you so very much for the video link and the opportunity for our students. They absolutely were blown away by the experience." Yeronga State High School - Louise Edwards
