How to Enter
2. To enter this promotion, eligible entrants must follow Tangalooma Island Resort on Instagram and, during the promotional period the competition landing page (URL:www.tangalooma.com/50k-Instagram-Bonanza) on the Tangalooma website, complete the online form, and explain within 25 words or less who you would bring with you to Tangalooma Island Resort and why.
3. Entrants must accept these terms and conditions in order to be eligible to enter. The promoter reserves the right to refuse prize redemption to any entrant that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
4. Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees (and their immediate families) of Tangalooma and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
5. Entries can be submitted between at 12:00pm (Queensland, Australia time) on Thursday 22/02/2024 and closes at 11:59pm (Queensland, Australia time) on Thursday 29/02/2024 (“Promotional Period”). Tangalooma Island Resort reserves the right to extend or amend these dates at its sole discretion without prior notice. 6. A maximum of one (1) entry only per person is permitted.
7. Tangalooma Island Resort will not accept responsibility for any lost, late, or misdirected entries.
The Prize
8. The prize winner/s is entitled to a voucher for a Tangalooma Sunset Cocktails Day Cruise for 2, with the included activity of their choice (pending date availability). This prize for 2 guests is valued at $450.00. There are 2 of these prizes available to win, with a total prize pool of $900.00.
• Sunset Cocktails Day Cruise with choice of included activity (Desert Safari Tour, ATV Quad Bike Tour, Marine Discovery Cruise, Snorkel the Wrecks Tour or Whale Watching Cruise)

9. All ancillary costs and expenses not specified above (including ground transfers, transport, accommodation, insurance, food, beverages, entertainment, and spending money) that are incurred in the redemption of the prize are the responsibility of the prize winner (unless expressly stated)
Selection of Winning Entry & Promotion
10. The winning entry is at the sole discretion of the appointed staff at Tangalooma Island Resort. Duplicate entries selected will be based on the person who first entered that entry during the promotional period. This selection will take place at Tangalooma Island Resort, Administration Office, Cnr Kingsford Smith Drive & Harvey Street Eagle Farm Qld 4009 on 01/03/2024 by 5pm.
11. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence or communication will be entered into consideration.
12. The winner will be published on the Competition Landing Page (URL: https://www.tangalooma.com/50k-instagram-bonanza) on the Tangalooma website as well as on Tangalooma social media accounts on Monday 04/03/2024.
13. The Prize winner will be contacted by Monday 04/03/2024 on the email address provided during the entry process. The promoter takes no responsibility for incorrect contact details being provided. If Tangalooma Island Resort does not receive a response to claim the prize within two (2) weeks post the sending out of winner notification emails, the winner agrees to forfeit their prize.
14. By accepting their Prize, the prize winner acknowledges and consents to participating in promotional activities relating to the Prize which may include promotional photograph shoots and media interviews. The Promoter may use all photographs and recorded interviews, including the prize winner’s image, voice, name and other details, without restriction and without further reward or recourse to the prize winner, in its advertising and promotional materials and official communications in perpetuity and in any media whatsoever.
Prize Conditions
15. Prize Recipients will be entitled to a voucher, which is valid for the inclusions stated in Item 8. Once supplied with their prize voucher, the recipient will be required to call Tangalooma Reservations (1300 652 250) and quote their voucher number to begin the booking process.
16. The prize cannot be transferred to other persons or parties. For the prize to be validated the prize recipient must travel on the booking and may need to show identification upon check-in to validate the booking.
17. The prize value cannot be transferred or exchanged towards a different Tangalooma Island Resort experience (such as accommodation).
18. The vouchers are eligible towards one booking only and no change will be given for unspent portions. All booking upgrades or additional guests can be requested but may not be available. If accommodated all such upgrades or additional guests will be at the expense of the prize recipient. Children are classified as 3 to 14 years. No extra credit can be redeemed for unspent portions if a child is selected to travel as the guest.
19. All included tour and activities are subject to weather conditions. Wild dolphin feeding experience is dependent on wild dolphin attendance, tides and weather conditions. If any parts of the day cruise are unavailable due to weather (including dolphin feeding) or unforeseen conditions a return trip or credit will not be offered.
20. Whale Watching Cruises are available from 20 June 2024 to 16 October 2024, weather dependant. Prize vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.
21. Please treat your prize voucher like cash as lost or stolen prize vouchers are non-refundable and no replacements are available.
22. All travel on this prize voucher must be completed by 31 March 2025 (subject to availability). Some other blackout dates may apply. Contact Reservations (Ph: 1300 652 250) for more information.
23. All bookings that are made (in-part or in-full) with a prize voucher are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
24. Free of charge parking will be provided for all vehicles associated with the prize winner's booking for the duration of the day.
25. The prize will be subject to the applicable package conditions at time of booking.
26. Vouchers expire on 31 March 2025 and must be redeemed before this date. All travel must be completed before this time, and extensions will not be granted. It is advised that the prize recipient/s book well in advance of their planned travel dates to secure availability.
27. The value of the prize is at the market rate of the time of competition launch. Any costs associated with the booking that must be moved or missed etc are at the recipients’ expense. Day Cruises are made available by Tangalooma Island Resort on a “subject to availability” basis.
28. Prize winners under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to claim the prize on their behalf upon presentation of identification. Prize winners under the age of 18 will require an adult over the age of 18 in their immediate travel party for the duration of their visit to Tangalooma Island Resort.
