Tangalooma Island Resort encourages the community to share comments, visuals and videos which highlight the beauty of the Resort. Tangalooma Island Resort aims to ensure their social media channels are respectful and inclusive.

As part of the moderation of our Social Media pages, Tangalooma Island Resort will aim to review all content that is posted and will remove material we deem:

  • Is spam, promotional material or a link to third-party websites
  • Is inappropriate, libellous, profane, defamatory, discriminatory, disparaging, hateful, harassing, threatening, or obscene;
  • A violation of another’s copyright or intellectual property;
  • to be personal attacks on our company, staff, guests or social media users, or to contain abusive language, name-calling or threats
  • to be trolling
  • persistent abuse or misrepresentation of Tangalooma Island Resort or its affiliated companies
  • invasive of our staff's right to privacy; or a threat to our staff's safety

These guidelines also extend to interactions across all Tangalooma Island Resort Social Media channels and via chat services such as direct messenger.

Please note that any unofficial comments posted to these pages do not represent the opinions of Tangalooma Island Resort, its employees or affiliates and we reserve the right to remove posted content without warning or justification.

Tangalooma Island Resort's Social Media pages are not to be used as a marketplace. Comments concerning other travel agents, timeshare, private properties or links to any websites that offer products for sale may be hidden or removed.

We also reserve the right to ban any user, at our discretion, who we deem has contravened the above terms and conditions or has degraded the use of the page for other fans.

These terms and conditions are updated regularly to reflect the changing internet and communication landscape and the rights of our company, our customers and our staff.
