Starting our day with whales in the bay!

Just before firing up the Tangalooma jet's engines to depart for our whale watch cruise a juvenile was spotted about 100 metres breaching right out the front of resort! We are starting to see quite a few number of whales that are making their way into the bay. We were lucky to find two adults just out the front of the town Cowan Cowan whilst we were making our way to Cape Moreton. Two of juveniles welcomed the boat by doing massive pectoral slaps. Soon after a juvenile and an adult displayed some lazy breaches, although we believe they were conserving their energy by leaving the best for last. Just as we were saying our goodbyes the pair leaped out of the water at the same time making a huge splash.
