Health and Safety Risks
Some of our activities and tours are physically demanding, and may pose a health or safety risk. For your safety, you must disclose before booking if you are suffering from any injury, medical condition (such as pregnancy, epilepsy, asthma or cardiovascular conditions), disability, disease or illness which may be aggravated by participation in, or may interfere with your ability to safely participate in our products. Weaker Swimmers: Tangatours reserves the right to refuse hire to people deemed not to be sufficiently competent for unsupervised water activities. If you are refused hire, you will be offered a discounted upgrade to a guided tour or appropriate alternative activity.
Terms and conditions:
Please note that the package includes up to 3 hours of kayak hire, up to 3 hours of snorkelling equipment hire, and up to 1 hour of stand-up paddleboard hire. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused portions of the activities once any part of the package has been redeemed. Additionally, if you arrive late for any reason, you will not receive a refund or credit for the missed time. To maximize your opportunity to hire equipment, we recommend choosing the 7:30am boat.
Age Requirements: There are specific age requirements associated with each activity. For kayaking, participants must be at least 4 years old. Children aged between 4 and 15 must be accompanied by a legal adult (18 years or older) in the same kayak at all times. Solo use of a kayak is only permitted for those aged 16 and over. To use snorkel gear, guests must be at least six years old. Stand-up paddle boards may only be used by individuals aged 12 and over. Only one person is permitted on a paddle board at any time.
Anyone who is pregnant or has a history of epilepsy must provide a current doctor’s clearance before participating in kayaking.
Tours, cruises and activities are weather dependent and subject to availability. If we are unable to issue hire equipment due to unsafe weather conditions, we will endeavor to provide substitute experiences subject to availability. Each Adult guest will receive a Lunch Voucher up to the value $25 to be redeemed at any operating food outlet at Tangalooma Island Resort during their visit. Each child (6-14 years) will receive a Lunch Voucher up to the value of $20. No change will given on lunch vouchers. Launch schedules can be altered at short notice. Price schedule subject to change at any time. All prices quoted are in Australian dollars and include GST. Guests must check the inclusions of the package they are booking. No allowance or refunds can be made for meals, excursions etc. that they elect not to take. No changes permitted or refunds provided on all day cruises within 48 hours prior to departure.
The Dolphin Feeding Program operates to strict guidelines, therefore restrictions on feeding apply. As the dolphin feeding program involves wild animals, Tangalooma cannot guarantee the attendance of dolphins at the night feeding. However, the resort does experience a 98-99% attendance rate.
