June '17 Whale Watching Wrap

Tangalooma’s 2017 Whale Watching season is off to amazing start, with guests aboard Australia’s largest dedicated whale watching vessel (The Tangalooma Jet) already spotting a whopping 198 whales to date!

We’ve seen breaches, spy hops, tail slaps, and everything in between as 2017 gears up to be one of the most entertaining seasons to date!

But it’s not just whales that guests have been spotting our in the waters of Moreton Bay. We’ve caught a glimpse of the very rare pilot whale, hammerhead sharks, Green Sea Turtles and pods of wild bottlenose dolphins! Whale watching island style has truly been turning it on this season!

And as the season begins ramping up, Tangalooma Eco Rangers expect to see more and more humpback whale pods migrating to the warmer waters in the North, getting up close and personal with our guests aboard the Tangalooma Jet.

We cannot wait to see what the next few months of whale watching delivers! See you out on the water…
