Feed a wild dolphin

Experience the unforgettable at Tangalooma and hand feed one of the wild dolphins that visit our shores each evening. This world-renowned program began back in 1991 and it is the highlight for visitors from far & wide. Each of the playful bottlenose dolphins have their own distinctive and unique personality. Find out more about dolphin feeding here.

Snorkel the Tangalooma Wrecks

Jump in, flippers and all, as you explore the incredible marine life at the Tangalooma Wrecks. Deliberately sunk between 1963 and 1984 to provide a safe anchorage spot for boat owners, the Tangalooma Wrecks are arguably one of the most stunning sights to see in SE Queensland and we have no doubt that once you have explored this underwater utopia you will agree!

Speed down the sand dunes

Hop onto a thrilling and bumping 4WD bus tour and journey out to the Tangalooma Desert. Once you arrive you will have the chance to participate in the exhilarating sport of sand tobogganing. Race down the dunes at speeds of up to 40km per hour as the wind flies through your hair, and be careful not to scream, otherwise you might get a mouth full of sand!

Say hi to the Humpback Whales

Visit Tangalooma between June and October and grab tickets for our daily whale watching cruise. With whale sightings guaranteed, you will be amazed when you see these majestic creatures as they journey on their migration from Antarctica to their breeding grounds in Queensland’s warm waters.

But why stop at just 5 activities? With an array of amazing tours & activities from parasailing to Kookaburra feeding, and scenic helicopter rides to ATV quad bikes, Tangalooma has something from everyone's wishlist. Make 2020 a year to remember and book your adventure today!
