Thrill seekers taking a leap over Tangalooma Beach 

It’s a bird, it’s a plane….no it’s renowned FMX stuntman Harry Bink! On the 7th of June, Harry Bink, along with a team of skydiving professionals and camera crew visited Tangalooma for an epic shoot in promotion of the upcoming Fox Australia Supercross Championships later this year. 

An Elite Helicopters R44 had all of its doors removed, dare devil Harry climbed aboard with pilot Brendan, and up they flew, hundreds of feet in the air. Once they were flying over the beautiful blue waters of Moreton Bay, Harry leant backwards and out he leapt over the stunning views of the island. 

Intrigued resort guests watched on in awe, excitement and possibly even worry, as Harry released his parachute and soared down effortlessly, with the iconic Tangalooma Wrecks behind him, landing safely on the Tangalooma Beach in front of the Beachfront Villas. 

Upon landing, Harry was overcome with adrenaline saying that it was one of the most incredible things he had ever experienced, and that, of course, the view was unbelievable. Harry threw a couple of “shakas” and off he went again, as if one skydive from a helicopter was not enough, he jumped 3 more times! 

There was not a single cloud in the sky, and it was the most perfect day, making the camera crew’s job easy to capture the natural beauty that is Tangalooma, and Harry’s job of leaping out of a helicopter even easier, as he had the best view you could ask for!
