Guests at Tangalooma Island Resort were surprised by a rare shark sighting last week — but this particular shark was better known for chart-topping hits than sharp teeth. Australian music star Amy Shark made a special visit to Tangalooma Island Resort, creating plenty of excitement among guests enjoying the iconic Moreton Island destination.
Arriving in style by helicopter, Amy Shark enjoyed spectacular aerial views across Moreton Bay and the crystal-clear waters surrounding Tangalooma. Her visit brought plenty of excitement to the island, with guests thrilled to spot the Australian music star enjoying a relaxing Moreton Island getaway.
During her island escape, Amy embraced adventure with one of Tangalooma’s popular ATV Quad Bike Tours, exploring sandy beach tracks and scenic bushland trails across Moreton Island. After the adrenaline rush, she slowed things down with some well-earned relaxation by the resort pool, soaking up the tropical atmosphere beneath swaying palm trees.
Known for its dolphin feeding experiences, wreck snorkelling, whale watching tours, and stunning beaches, Tangalooma Island Resort continues to attract celebrities and travellers looking for the perfect Queensland island getaway.
While marine life is a natural part of the Moreton Bay environment, Tangalooma remains one of Australia’s most popular family-friendly beach destinations. This “shark attack” turned out to be all smiles, music, and island adventure.
Tangalooma would happily welcome Amy Shark back anytime.
