With 86 International cricket caps to his name, a prolific career with the Queensland Bulls and successful stints with Worcestershire, Hampshire and Essex in England, Andy Bichel needs no introduction.
Since retiring from professional cricket, Andy Bichel has gone on to pursue a successful coaching career with India’s Chennai Super Kings, 2010’s Indian Premier League winners. But did you know that the former Australian Cricketer is also a Tangalooma brand ambassador in India? Since 2014, Andy has worked with key agents across Australia and India in building the profile of his favourite holiday hot-spot Tangalooma Island Resort (Moreton Island), because just like many Aussie blokes, Andy spends his time off relaxing by the beach.
According to Andy, Moreton Island offers some of the best fishing spots of South East Queensland, and Tangalooma offers the perfect place for a bit of R&R amongst an incredibly busy cricketing schedule.
But don’t take our word for it, hear it from the man himself as Andy Bichel offers up a personal tour of Tangalooma. Embark on a tour with Andy as he goes dugong spotting at the Tangalooma Wrecks, sand tobogganing at the Tangalooma Desert, ATV quad biking, and of course crowd favourite wild dolphin feeding.
