Parasailing with Buzzfeed Mates

Meet Nick, he’s one of eight lucky content creators known as the BuzzFeed Mates. In 2017 he was hand picked from the UK and flown to Australia for a three-month road trip with Buzzfeed and Tourism Australia.

Buzzfeed Mates is aimed at attracting the next generation of storytellers to Australian shores, and Nick along with Sohan (from the Aussie BuzzFeed editorial team) has been given the once in a lifetime job to discover and report on some of the most unique and breathtaking experiences across Australia.

With a bespoke itinerary filled with things that appeal to the young traveller, Nick and Sohan began their journey through Queensland. After exploring the iconic Glass House Mountains, they arrived in Brisbane in their Jucy campervan.

As many locals know, a visit to Brisbane would not be complete without a trip across the bay to beautiful Moreton Island, and of course, Tangalooma Island Resort. With pristine waters, white sandy beaches and untouched National Parks, Moreton Island is a paradise that offers unparalleled wonders to explore.

Armed with the most up to date iPhones and GoPro’s, Nick and Sohan stepped off the Tangalooma Jet and straight into an action packed itinerary! With 48 hours to experience the best of what Tangalooma Island Resort has to offer there was not a minute to waste.

With adventures such as racing around on ATV quad bikes, hand-feeding wild dolphins, parasailing, snorkelling through mysterious shipwrecks, and let’s not forget kicking back and soaking up some much needed sun rays on Australia’s best island resort beach, the opportunities are endless!
