Sky high adventure lands at Tangalooma

Tangalooma Island Resort recently played host to a spectacular display of skill, adrenaline and stunning aerial views as skydivers dropped in, quite literally. Operators Adam Abitbol and Kristan Fischer from Skydive Addiction brought a group of experienced and enthusiastic jumpers to Tangalooma Island Resort as part of their Australia Sky Safari adventure tour, where skydiving is one of the main attractions.

Guests at the resort were treated to an unforgettable experience as skydivers soared through crystal-clear skies, landing with precision right on the beach next to the Tangalooma jetty. With perfect weather and postcard-worthy views, it was the kind of day that reminds us just how breathtaking Moreton Island can be from above and below.

The Australia Sky Safari is a must-do for thrill-seekers, and this year’s itinerary included jumps across the Brisbane area, the Whitsundays as well as Darwin. With participants travelling from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and across Australia, the event continues to grow in popularity and scale.

Tangalooma Island Resort was proud to be one of the featured locations this year, with Moreton Island’s long beaches and spectacular views offering the perfect backdrop for a memorable jump. The colourful parachutes drifting down through the blue sky made for a truly striking sight.

With plans already underway for the 2026 Sky Safari, Adam and Kristan are scouting new destinations to add to their list of iconic jump spots. We hope to see them return to Tangalooma in the near future for more high-flying adventure.

Keep your eyes on the sky, because you never know when the next big thrill will land on our shores!
