Ahead of its spring launch, the Tangalooma Dunes Cabana Club is well underway. The exciting new precinct is quickly taking shape and is set to become not only a standout addition to the resort, but also a significant tourism offering for Brisbane as the city looks ahead to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Throughout the past few months, all 20 individual cabanas were carefully constructed at our Brisbane Wharf before being transported by barge to Tangalooma. Once on the island, they were precisely positioned in their beachfront location, where they seamlessly compliment the natural beauty of the shoreline.
Concrete works were successfully completed by the end of June, with landscaping now transforming the precinct into a vibrant beachfront destination. With turf laid and the finishing touches well in progress, we're looking forward to welcoming guests to this exciting new addition to the resort in the coming months.
