2nd newborn calf of the 2017 whale watching season!

What a delight to see the 2nd newborn calf of our 2017 whale watching season on today's whale watch cruise! The mother-calf pair soon disappeared out of sight from us, as they performed a long deep water dive. We continued our cruise to sight more Humpback whale pods.

The main activity observed on the whale watch was surfacing and long deep water dives. From what we witnessed today, the 12 sighted Humpback whales enjoyed swimming in the depths of Moreton Bay Marine Park. Let's hope they are conserving their energy for tomorrow's whale watch cruise!
