Tail throwing Thursday!

Wow, what a day on the Tangalooma whale watch cruise! The 22 whales sighted today put on a spectacular show for guests on board the Tangalooma Jet. We got to witness so many diverse behaviours by these Humpback whales including tail throws, tail slaps, bubble trails and head lunges! The whales were definitely feeling social out on the whale watching grounds as they were communicating from pod to pod.

Just like yesterday, the whales are still on a mission to get up north as fast as possible, as we witnessed them travelling quite fast on today's whale watch. It's going to be exciting seeing these whales heading back south to Antarctica within the next few months!
