Huge day of whale watching with 22 sightings!

An amazing whale watch today, we had whales all around us, doing all sorts of behaviors. We had a lot of the whales today doing pectoral flipper slaps that whales use as a form of communication. We also had a whales showing off for the whale watch with some excellent breaches followed by more pectoral slaps and the whale only kept going with a few tail slaps to finish it off.

Even as we were trying to make our way back to Tangalooma we came across more whales that didn't disappoint. We also had a pod of bottlenose dolphins playing around in the waters around these whales.
