Whales, sharks, dolphins and Turtles!

What a spectacular whale watch today on board the Tangalooma Jet! Everywhere we looked, marine life surrounded us. We saw a total of 11 Humpback whales as well as a Hammerhead shark, pod of Bottlenose dolphins, and two Green sea turtles!

Guests watched in awe as a Humpback whale continuously raised its tail into the air! This whale was definitely feeling very playful and relaxed today. Many of the whales were also logging today, meaning they were resting on the surface of the water, to conserve their energy.

Just as we began to make our journey home to Tangalooma, we noticed big splashes a few hundred metres from the Tangalooma Jet. We approached closer to the pod, and later witnessed incredible breaches by one of the adult whales!

Today was a thrilling whale watch and we cannot wait for the next few months of whale watching!
