Juveniles just chilling out

What an incredible whale watch on the Tangalooma Flyer out in Moreton Bay Marine Park! The cruise started off with two juvenile Humpbacks chilling out in the calm waters off Curtain Artificial Reef, on the western side of Moreton Island. At this time of year, we are seeing an increase of whales coming into the calmer waters of the bay, seeking protection from the crazy open ocean waters!

After we watched these juveniles, we continued to the Cape to discover more pods of Humpbacks displaying courtship behaviours as they head lunged and surfaced off Cape Moreton.
