30 incredible humpBack whale breaches in a row!

Best whale watch of the 2017 season so far, with 13 Humpback whales seen! The whales spent more time in the air than they did in the water. Guests on board the Tangalooma Jet were lucky enough to see a juvenile Humpback whale performing more than 30 incredible breaches in a row! This whale was sending a message out to surrounding pods, as we saw other Humpback whale pods splashing around on the horizon!

Many other whales performed spectacular behaviours including pectoral flipper slaps and tail throws. Guests definitely filled up their camera storage with spectacular footage of these active whales on today's whale watch cruise!

The weather also complimented the airborne whales, with crystal blue waters and sunny blue skies surrounding the Tangalooma Jet.

What a great way to start the weekend!
