Whales heading home soon

The Whales are back on the move!

We were lucky enough to see 2 whales just north of Comburo Point on the northwestern point of Moreton Island. They were most likely heading out of Moreton Bay after taking a quick rest on their journey back to Antarctica. They met up with another whale while heading around the top side of the island, putting on a show for the Tangalooma whale watch with a tail throw and tail slap every now and then to keep their audience captivated.

We are starting to see the return of the whales from up north, and over the next few weeks we will start to see a lot more whales taking a rest in Moreton Bay as they make their way home back to Antarctica.
