BRISBANE INFORMATION VISITOR CENTRE COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Promoter

    2. How to Enter

  2. To enter this promotion, eligible entrants must enter their details to submit entry on the competition landing page (URL:www.tangalooma.com/bnevic-competition/) on the Tangalooma website during the promotional period.
  3. Entrants must accept these terms and conditions in order to be eligible to enter. The promoter reserves the right to refuse prize redemption to any entrant that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
  4. Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees (and their immediate families) of Tangalooma and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  5. Entries can be submitted between at 9:00am (AEST) on Monday 13/09/2021 and 4:59pm (AEST) on Friday 17/09/2021 (“Promotional Period”). Tangalooma Island Resort reserves the right to extend or amend these dates at its sole discretion without prior notice. Any such changes will be published to the terms and conditions page (URL: https://www.tangalooma.com/bnevic-competition/tcs)
  6. A maximum of one (1) name entry only per person is permitted.
  7. Entrants must be ages 18 years or older to enter.
  8. Tangalooma Island Resort will not accept responsibility for any lost, late or misdirected entries.

    9. The Prize

  9. The prize winner is entitled to a VIP Tangalooma Experience for 2 adults and 2 children valued at up to $1,380.00
    1. 2 (two) night stay in a Resort Unit (for 2 adults and 2 children) (Travel date restrictions apply - see Item 24)
    2. Dolphin Feeding Experience (includes: Eco Ranger experience, VIP access on one evening of the dolphin feeding program).
    3. ATV Quad Bike Tour (Once per person per stay. Minimum age restrictions apply.)
    4. Return launch transfers for 4 pax
  10. All ancillary costs and expenses (including transfers, transport, accommodation, insurance, food, beverages, entertainment and spending money) in taking such prizes are the responsibility of the prize winner (unless expressly stated)

    11. Selection of Winning Entry & Promotion

  11. The winner will be randomly drawn by the appointed staff at Tangalooma Island Resort. This draw will take place at Tangalooma Island Resort, Administration Office, Cnr Kingsford Smith Drive & Harvey Street Eagle Farm Qld 4009 on 20/09/2021 by 5pm.
  12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence or communication will be entered into consideration.
  13. The Prize winner will be contacted by Tuesday 20/09/2021 on the email address provided during the entry process. The promoter takes no responsibility for incorrect contact details being provided. If Tangalooma Island Resort does not receive a response to claim the prize within two (2) business days post the sending out of winner notification emails, the winner agrees to forfeit their prize.
  14. By accepting their Prize, the prize winner acknowledges and consents to participating in promotional activities relating to the Prize which may include promotional photograph shoots and media interviews. The Promoter may use all photographs and recorded interviews, including the prize winner’s image, voice, name and other details, without restriction and without further reward or recourse to the prize winner, in its advertising and promotional materials and official communications in perpetuity and in any media whatsoever.

    15. Prize Conditions

  15. Prize Recipients will be entitled to a voucher, which is valid for the inclusions stated in Item 9. Once supplied with their prize voucher, the recipient will be required to call Tangalooma Reservations (07 3637 2000) and quote their voucher number to begin the booking process.
  16. The prize cannot be transferred to other persons or parties. For the prize to be validated the prize recipient must travel on the booking and may need to show identification upon check-in to validate the booking.
  17. The vouchers are eligible towards one booking only and no change will be given for unspent portions.
  18. All booking upgrades can be requested but may not be available. If accommodated all such upgrades will be at the expense of the prize recipient.
  19. Children are classified as 3 to 14 years.
  20. Minimum age to ride a ATV Quad Bike independently is 10 years or age.
  21. All included tour and activities are subject to weather conditions. Dolphin feeding experience is dependent on dolphin attendance, tides and weather conditions.
  22. Prize vouchers are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable.
  23. Please treat your prize voucher like cash as lost or stolen prize vouchers are non-refundable and no replacements are available.
  24. All travel on this prize voucher must be completed by 31 March 2022 (subject to availability), however travel cannot be redeemed over Public Holidays, Peak seasons and School Holidays. These Blackout dates include: 20/09/21-04/10/2021, 11/12/2021-23/01/2022, 02/04/2022-18/04/2022, 25/06/2022-10/07/2022, 17/09/2022-03/10/2022, 10/12/2022-22/01/2023.   25. All bookings that are made (in-part or in-full) with a prize voucher are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
  26. All bookings that are made (in-part of in-full) with a prize voucher do not include daily maid service, and are subject to a 2pm check-in time. Free of charge parking will be provided for all vehicles associated with the prize winner's booking for the duration of the stay.
  27. The prize will be subject to the applicable package conditions at time of booking.
  28. Vouchers expire on 31 Mar 2022 and must be redeemed before this date. All travel must be completed before this time, and extensions will not be granted. It is advised that the prize recipient books well in advance of their planned travel dates to secure availability.
  29. The value of the holiday is at the market rate of the time of competition launch. Any costs associated with the booking that have to be moved or missed etc are at the recipients’ expense. Holidays are made available by Tangalooma Island Resort on a “subject to availability” basis.
