Why did Caesarstone select Tangalooma Island Resort for their conference/event?

Being close and highly accessible from Brisbane made Tangalooma the ideal location to escape away from the hustle and bustle but without lengthy travel times to get my team there. The resort style facilities and relaxed atmosphere was the perfect location to do some “no pressure – creative thinking” with the team.

How was the overall experience? Including comments on the team building activities and food experience?

The team thoroughly enjoyed the entire 2 days from the initial boat ride from Brisbane to arrival at the island. The team was met by the friendly staff at the jetty who guided them to our private boardroom setup for Day 1 of business activities. The room was well suited to what we needed to get through. At the conclusion of business activities, the team retired to their rooms to freshen up before participating in the Dolphin feeding which they found highly enjoyable. Then onto dinner at the Chinese restaurant where the food and service were both excellent. Day 2 saw the team enjoy a leisurely breakfast followed by some free time before hitting the trails on the quad bikes for our team building activity which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Did Tangalooma help you overcome any challenges in the organisation of your conference? If so, how?

To be honest, the entire event was so well planned and executed that there were no challenges.

What were the “triumphs” or highlights from the conference?

The entire event was a smashing success and highly enjoyed by all the team. The amenities on the island were exactly what we needed to be able to get the team away from the daily grind and focused on being productive for the business session all whilst being in an environment that was very relaxed. 10 out of 10 mate!
